Christmas

As everyone knows we got a new kitten. I brought her home in March and so everything is so new to her. She is such a great addition to our family. It also confirms that I don't believe Ted thinks he is a cat anymore. He acts more like a dog. He listens to what you say, Ellie does not. You can guarantee that Ted will come home, Ellie does not. Ted loves treats and begs for your food, Ellie does not. Or maybe its just an age difference. Either way we knew we would have a problem when Christmas came around. Since we have Ted and experienced his first year, we knew we would have some complications. With Ted's first Christmas we learned noyt to put a tree next to any stairs. When we lived the condo we put the tree right next to the stairs and he learned to dive in it like a slide. It was pretty funny and also entertaining. This year we made sure to not put as many bulbs and nothing that could break. Ellie of course got into the tree everyday. The difference is that she would just sit in the tree until we yelled at her. She also would not stop drinking the water from the tree. Maybe thats why our tree died before the end of the year. If you tried to wrap a present you could guarantee that she will think differently. She wanted nothing more than to lay on the paper and eat it making it difficult to wrap anything.

Pittsburgh Zoo

There is a funny story behind this adorable tiger. He was siting on this rock until we came up. On the left side of the glass is more of a mesh for the cage. Tom decided to go over to that side and make kissy noices. She decided to start playing with him with peek a boo. It was hilarious! Here are the pics

The polar bear exhibit was so cool. You can actually walk under the water and see them swim... if you could ever catch them swimming.

These baby elephants were so cute. I had a hard time leaving them.

Pittsburgh

Here are some more pictures of Pittsburgh when we went in October.

There is an incline that you take up to look over the downtown area. It is very pretty. Here is just part of the downtown. As you can see, there are tons of bridges that you have to cross. They Call this the "Y" Its where the two rivers come together.

This pic is dedicated to my brother Craig. Here is the trophy from the superbowl that we beat his

I was so lucky to be able to go to the Steeler game for my 30th birthday. It will definitely be a birthday to remember. We had amazing seats. Thank you to my wonderful husband and his parents. Here are some pics of the great game and some of the fun things we did. Unfortunately the Steelers lost. We say its because Big Ben was spending to much time being distracted trying to find me.
